If you find the display of your new iMac or MacBook display too glossy and reflective, you may wish to consider non-glare LCD protective film. A especially good idea for screens that are in the public domain such as schools, libraries or mobile devices such as auto touch screens. In this Macworld Video, senior editor Roman Loyola takes a look at an anti-glare film for iMac screens from Photodon. The film helps cut down glare and reflections from the iMac's glossy screen. There is a big difference in the glare when you have the glossy and anti-glare to compare side by side. I thought that the glossy was the way to go because apple said so, and I agreed with them at first because the color was so vibrant and sharp. Well, as close as one can get to non-glare, anyway! (Yes, unfortunately I have to spend a lot of time using Windows. But now at least I don't have to stare at my computer THROUGH a pane of window glass anymore!).
